These terms govern your use of watchmycreation. By opening a film link, buying a ticket, watching a film or registering as a filmmaker, you agree to them, and to the documents they bring with them: our Viewer Terms, which are the contract for a ticket; our Privacy Policy; our Cancellation and Refunds policy; and our Intellectual Property Policy. Filmmakers also accept our Filmmaker Agreement. Where one of those says something more specific about your role, it governs for that role. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who you are dealing with

watchmycreation is run by Sajai Digital, a sole proprietorship — called “we” or “us” in these terms. We sell every ticket on watchmycreation, and we issue the invoice for it. When you buy a ticket, your contract, and your payment, are with us — not with the filmmaker. Razorpay processes the payment for us.

What we are

watchmycreation is a pay-per-view service for films of every length. Independent filmmakers upload their films, set a ticket price and share a private link; viewers buy a ticket and watch. The filmmaker chooses, for each film, whether it is listed in our public catalogue — where anyone can find it and search engines can index it — or unlisted, in which case it is left out of the catalogue and asks not to be indexed. An unlisted film is not a hidden one: its page, its ticket and its player work exactly the same for anyone holding the link. Filmmakers license their films to us on a non-exclusive basis and keep ownership of them, and each filmmaker is responsible for holding the rights in what they upload. The terms between us and filmmakers are in our Filmmaker Agreement.

What a ticket gives you

A ticket is a licence to view. It is not a sale of the film, and it does not transfer any rights in it. Every limit above belongs to the ticket rather than to a person or a device: anyone holding the link may watch within the window, and it is the first viewing to finish that uses the ticket up. The full terms of a ticket are in our Viewer Terms.

There is no account

Viewers do not register. Your ticket is a six-character access code and a private link, shown on your receipt. That code and link are the only way back to the film. Save them. We deliberately hold no account you could sign into to recover them, though we can look up a code against a payment if you contact us with your payment details.

Because the link is the access, treat it as private. Sharing it does not multiply your ticket — the limits on playthroughs and on simultaneous streams apply to the ticket, not to each person you send it to.

Buying a ticket

A viewer outside India is charged in US dollars. Every film has a price in US dollars, from US$2 upwards, as well as its price in Indian Rupees. A viewer we detect as buying from outside India is shown the dollar price and charged it, by card; a viewer in India is charged the price in Indian Rupees. Which applies is decided by us, from where the purchase is made, and is shown before you pay. A ticket sold in US dollars to a viewer outside India is an export of services and carries no Indian GST. A payment or refund that involves a currency conversion is settled strictly at the amount actually realised after conversion and after any gateway or bank charge: the rate is fixed by the payment gateway, the card network and their settlement bank at the moment each transaction is processed, and we neither fix nor guarantee it. Your own bank may also charge you for a payment in a foreign currency; that is between you and your bank. The full mechanism, for filmmakers, is in our Filmmaker Agreement.

If you are under 18

You must be 18 or over to buy a ticket yourself. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must buy it for you, and they are responsible for deciding whether the film is suitable. On a film rated 18+, the purchaser is asked to declare at checkout that they are 18 or over; we do not verify that declaration. Anyone holding a ticket’s private link can watch the film, so a parent or guardian should keep the link private.

Content rules

These rules apply to every film offered here, to its title, poster, trailer and description, and to reviews. A film that breaks them is not put on sale, and a film found to break them later is taken off sale.

Nothing unlawful. In particular, nothing offered here may:

Every film is reviewed by a person before it goes on sale, and we may decline one. No automated or artificial-intelligence system judges what a film contains; the technical checks that do run — that the file encoded, that its length is within limits, that playback protection is on, that a poster really is an image — look at the file, not at the work. If you believe a film on sale breaks these rules, tell us through our Grievance Redressal page; if it infringes rights you hold, our Intellectual Property Policy sets out what a complaint needs and what we do with it.

What you may not do

Films are delivered as signed, expiring streams and cannot be downloaded from the player. We are honest about the limits of this: no streaming service can prevent someone recording their own screen. We rely on these terms, and on the ticket’s access code and the purchaser’s masked contact detail being drawn over the picture while it plays (the code alone when the payment gave us no contact), as much as on technology. Anyone the link is shared with sees them, which is the point of them.

For filmmakers

Reviews

A viewer who has finished a film may leave it a star rating and a written review. A review is published indefinitely and cannot be edited or deleted afterwards — by its author, by the filmmaker, or on request. We show a film’s average rating once it has 5 of them, so that one opinion is not printed as a verdict. A filmmaker may reply to a review, and may report one for breaking the content rules above; a review that breaks them is hidden. We do not remove a review for being unflattering, and a filmmaker cannot require us to. A review on a ticket we refund in full is hidden automatically.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your use of watchmycreation — a filmmaker account, a review or a ticket — if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if a court or government authority orders it. A suspended filmmaker account is signed out at once and its films come off sale; the Filmmaker Agreement says what then happens to tickets already sold and to earnings. If we end a ticket for a reason that is not your fault, you are refunded under our Cancellation and Refunds policy. You may stop using the service at any time.

Indemnity

If you break these terms — for example by uploading a film you do not have the rights to, or by copying or redistributing a film — and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to compensate us for the loss, damages and reasonable legal costs that claim causes us. This does not cover a claim that arises from our own fault.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a liability that Indian law does not allow to be excluded or limited, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Subject to that: if a ticket does not give you what these terms promise, our liability to you is limited to refunding what you paid for it; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; and our liability to a filmmaker is limited as set out in our Filmmaker Agreement.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for a failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control — for example a failure of the internet, of electricity, of a payment network or of a hosting or streaming provider; fire, flood, earthquake, epidemic or another natural disaster; war, riot or civil unrest; or an act or order of a government or court. If such an event stops you watching a film you paid for, our Cancellation and Refunds policy still applies.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If a technical fault on our side stops you watching a film you paid for, see our Cancellation and Refunds policy.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when the law or the service changes. When we do, we publish the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top of it; a change applies from that date. When a change materially affects filmmakers, we also email registered filmmakers before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction. Legal notices go to legal@watchmycreation.com.
