This policy covers tickets bought by viewers and listing fees paid by filmmakers: when we refund one, and how long it takes. A ticket is a digital product delivered the moment your payment is confirmed; how that works is in our Shipping and Delivery Policy.

When we will refund a ticket

A listing period simply lapsing is not a withdrawal: a ticket you have already bought plays out its full window even after the period it was sold under has ended, so there is nothing to refund.

When we will not

How to ask

Email support@watchmycreation.com within 7 days of the purchase, with the payment reference or the phone number you gave at checkout. Tell us what went wrong. We reply within 2 business days.

How long a refund takes

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once we approve it, the money typically reaches you in 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or UPI provider. We do not control that timing.

When a refund is issued, access to the film ends.

Cancellation

Because a ticket is delivered the moment you pay, there is no separate cancellation step. If you have not started watching and believe you bought in error, contact us within 7 days and we will consider it under the terms above.

There is also no subscription to cancel: no plan, no billing cycle, no auto-renewal, no free trial and no stored payment instrument. Nothing here charges you again unless you choose to pay again.

A payment that failed

A payment the gateway reports as failed produces no ticket, no access code and no entry in our accounts. There is nothing to reverse and nothing was charged. If your bank shows a pending amount against a failed payment, your bank releases it; we never received it.

Foreign currency and cross-border payments

A viewer outside India is charged in US dollars. Every film has a price in US dollars, from US$2 upwards, as well as its price in Indian Rupees. A viewer we detect as buying from outside India is shown the dollar price and charged it, by card; a viewer in India is charged the price in Indian Rupees. Which applies is decided by us, from where the purchase is made, and is shown before you pay. A ticket sold in US dollars to a viewer outside India is an export of services and carries no Indian GST. A payment or refund that involves a currency conversion is settled strictly at the amount actually realised after conversion and after any gateway or bank charge: the rate is fixed by the payment gateway, the card network and their settlement bank at the moment each transaction is processed, and we neither fix nor guarantee it. Your own bank may also charge you for a payment in a foreign currency; that is between you and your bank. A refund of a ticket paid in US dollars is made in US dollars, to the card that paid, on the same basis — we refund what the gateway actually returns, which can differ in rupee terms from what was originally realised because rates move between a sale and its refund.

Chargebacks

If you are thinking of raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please write to us first: most disputes are quicker to settle directly. Where a chargeback succeeds, the ticket is revoked and access ends.

Listing fees

A filmmaker pays a listing fee to put an approved film on sale for 90 days. The fee is charged only after we approve a film, so a film we decline costs nothing to list.

To ask about a listing fee, email support@watchmycreation.com within 7 days of the payment, with the film’s title and the payment reference. We reply within 2 business days, and an approved refund reaches the original payment method in 5–7 business days, depending on the bank or UPI provider.
