The contract between you and us when you buy a ticket and watch a film. Our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy apply alongside it, and our Cancellation and Refunds policy forms part of it.

What you are buying

A ticket is the right to watch one film, streamed in a browser. It is not a subscription, a rental, a licence to keep a copy or a right to watch again. The ticket is a six-character access code inside a private link, and delivery happens the instant your payment succeeds.

Your ticket is not emailed or texted to you. It appears on the receipt screen as soon as the payment goes through; that screen is the delivery. The receipt also offers a button that opens your own WhatsApp with the link already written, so you can send it to yourself — that message comes from your account, not from us. Save the link before you close the tab. Our Shipping and Delivery Policy explains delivery, and what to do if a ticket does not appear.

There is no account

You do not register. You choose no password, create no profile and give us no name. This also means we cannot look you up. If you lose your link, we can find your purchase only from the payment reference on your bank, UPI or card statement, together with the phone number or email address used at checkout. Write to support@watchmycreation.com with those details.

The price, and who sets it

The filmmaker sets the ticket price for their film, within the range we allow, and we show it before you pay. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes; if you are outside India you are shown and charged the film's price in US dollars instead, as described below. We sell the ticket in our own name and issue the tax invoice for it. What we keep out of the price, and what we pass to the filmmaker, is between us and them under our Filmmaker Agreement, and does not change what you pay.

How you pay

Payments go through Razorpay. You can pay by whichever methods the gateway offers you at checkout — typically UPI, cards, net banking and wallets. We do not store payment instruments: there are no saved cards, no mandates, no auto-debit, no recurring billing and no automatic retry of a failed payment. Every payment is one you start.

A viewer outside India is charged in US dollars. Every film has a price in US dollars, from US$2 upwards, as well as its price in Indian Rupees. A viewer we detect as buying from outside India is shown the dollar price and charged it, by card; a viewer in India is charged the price in Indian Rupees. Which applies is decided by us, from where the purchase is made, and is shown before you pay. A ticket sold in US dollars to a viewer outside India is an export of services and carries no Indian GST. A payment or refund that involves a currency conversion is settled strictly at the amount actually realised after conversion and after any gateway or bank charge: the rate is fixed by the payment gateway, the card network and their settlement bank at the moment each transaction is processed, and we neither fix nor guarantee it. Your own bank may also charge you for a payment in a foreign currency; that is between you and your bank.

If your payment fails, no ticket is issued, no access code is created and nothing is charged. If your bank shows a pending amount, your bank releases it; we never received it.

Using your ticket

Per ticket, not per person or device. Every limit above belongs to the ticket. Anyone holding the link may watch within the window, but it is the first viewing to finish that uses the ticket up. If you share your link, whoever finishes the film first uses it up, and we will not reissue a code once the viewing it grants has been consumed.

What we do and do not protect

A film’s page may or may not be public — the filmmaker chooses, at upload, whether the film is listed in our catalogue and indexed by search engines, or unlisted and reachable only by its link. Either way the film itself is never public: it plays only through a signed link that expires within minutes, there is no download button, and we apply session and rate limits.

We do not use digital rights management, and we do not block screenshots or screen recording. While a film plays, the ticket’s access code and, if we have one, a masked form of your contact detail are drawn over the picture, which anyone you share the link with can see. We ask you not to record, copy or redistribute a film; doing so infringes the filmmaker’s copyright and exposes you to a claim by them under the Copyright Act, 1957, independently of anything we do.

Age

You must be 18 or over to buy a ticket. Each film carries an age classification and, where relevant, content warnings; read them before you buy. Someone under 18 may watch only on a ticket bought by their parent or guardian, and only where the classification permits. If you buy a ticket for a child, you are responsible for what they watch. On a film rated 18+ the purchaser declares at checkout that they are 18 or over; we do not verify that declaration.

What you must not do

You must not record, capture, copy, download, rebroadcast, publicly perform or redistribute a film or any part of it; publish a private link on a public site or social account; use more than one device at a time on a single ticket; attempt to defeat the access code, the session limit or any other control; or use automated tools against the service.

If you do any of these, we may cancel your ticket without a refund, block your access, and disclose your details to the authorities where the law requires it. We do not give a filmmaker your personal data.

If something goes wrong

If the film will not play, is the wrong film, has no sound, or you were charged and received no ticket, write to support@watchmycreation.com with the payment reference. The mailbox is monitored Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00 IST and we reply within 2 business days. In short: we refund where the fault is ours, where you paid and got nothing, where you were charged twice, and where a film was withdrawn before you had a fair chance to watch it. We do not refund because you did not enjoy the film. Our Cancellation and Refunds policy sets it all out.

Films can be withdrawn

A film may come down before you have watched it — the filmmaker may withdraw it, or we may take it down on a valid complaint under our Intellectual Property Policy or on a court or government order. Where that happens and your ticket is unexpired and unused, we refund it automatically, without you needing to ask.

A listing period simply lapsing does not cut a ticket short: a ticket you have bought plays out its full window even if the listing period it was sold under has since ended.

Reviews

Once you have finished a film you may publish a star rating and a written review of it. Reviews are permanent and public, shown on the film’s page; an average appears once a film has 5 of them. Keep a review honest, your own and lawful: nothing defamatory, obscene, infringing, or carrying another person’s private information. We may remove a review that breaks those rules. A filmmaker may reply to a review and may report one, but cannot have it removed for being unfavourable. A review is its author’s opinion, not ours.

Films are the filmmaker’s, not ours

We do not make, commission or select the films sold here. Each is uploaded by a filmmaker who tells us they own it and who licenses it to us. We review every film before it goes on sale, for the matters set out in our Terms and Conditions, but we do not verify who owns what. A complaint about a film’s content goes to grievance@watchmycreation.com, and one about its ownership to copyright@watchmycreation.com.

Our liability to you

Our total liability in connection with a ticket is limited to what you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits a liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Your data

We hold very little about you: at most one contact value passed to us by the payment gateway, a payment reference, your access code and the playback record for that ticket. If you pay in US dollars we also keep the country your purchase was made from, which decided the currency, with the order and on its invoice. Your IP address is read to apply rate limiting and is not kept, except that our audit log records it when you post a review, when you report a film, and when a payment confirmation sent from a browser fails its signature check. While the film plays, your contact detail is shown over it in masked form as an anti-piracy watermark. A filmmaker never receives your identity or contact details — only counts and amounts. Our Privacy Policy explains all of it.

Events beyond our control

We stream through infrastructure that may be located anywhere in the world, and we rely on our hosting provider, our payment gateway and the wider internet to reach you. Neither of us is liable for a delay or failure caused by something beyond our reasonable control — an internet, hosting, cloud or payment-gateway outage; a natural disaster, fire or flood; war, terrorism, civil unrest, or a government act, order or restriction; a strike at a third party we rely on; or any other event a reasonable business in our position could not have prevented.

Where such an event stops you starting or finishing a film within its window, we extend the window or reissue access once it ends, and refund the ticket if that is not possible within a reasonable time. Where it continues for more than 30 days and prevents either of us from performing, either of us may end this agreement for the affected ticket, with no liability beyond a refund of a ticket that could not be used.

Changes

We may change these terms. A change does not affect a ticket you have already bought: the version in force when you paid governs your purchase, and every version carries its date at the foot of this page.

Law and disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of India. Please write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@watchmycreation.com before starting proceedings. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction, without affecting your right as a consumer to approach a consumer forum where you live or work.
